Hello and welcome!
Hi there!
I’m Zoë Robinson, a freelance writer and cartoonist amongst many other things. You probably found this site because of one of the myriad projects I’m involved in right now, from drawing funny pictures, to making short films, to recording radio debates and putting them on the Internet. Or maybe you didn’t come here because of any of that. Maybe you found your way here because you thought I was someone else. Whatever the reason, welcome to my little slice of the Internet.
If you are interested in seeing some of my work, I highly recommend starting with one of my three comics. First up is The Life of Nob T. Mouse, a surrealist science-fiction epic starring a café owner and part-time adventurer. If that’s not your thing, I also have All over the house, a traditional gag-a-day strip that would not look out of place in your local newspaper. For those who like their comics more punk-inspired, there is also Ink Proof Cannon. Be warned though, that one is intended for teens and adults only.
I also have a variety of informational outlets for you to feast your mind on. Anyone interested in how comics are produced for the Internet would do well to visit The Webcomic Builder (an advice and information site) and The Webcomics Company (a podcast). Anyone interested in UK law may find The UK Law Review worth a look.
For more news-related discussions, I regularly record the radio show my partner and I produce for a local hospital radio. You can find that at Jenny and Zoë at the Weekend. Finally, there is nobmouse, my YouTube channel, where I upload a short videos on a variety of topics, from alternative comedy routines right through to short biographies. As you can no doubt see, I like to keep busy!
Before you go, why not check out my blog. I write about the writing process, cartooning, working from home and a whole manner of other stuff I think you’ll find interesting and I would love to hear your opinions in the comments!
